Environmental Centre for Arab Towns & Gulf Research Centre Make Their Collaboration Official
ECAT and GRC are pleased to announce that a memorandum of understanding has been signed by both parties for collaboration and cooperation in different environmental issues and awareness programs concerning the Arab cities.
GRC is an independent research institute located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It seeks to provide a better understanding of the challenges and prospects of the GCC countries through conducting politically neutral and academically sound research. GRC organizes environmental conferences and workshops, prepares periodical publications and disseminates relevant and useful environmental information and data on the GCC states. Together, ECAT and the GRC will conduct research studies, organize awareness campaigns and offer expert consultation services.
Dr. Radhiya Al Hashimi, Director of ECAT, commented on this momentous occasion saying: "We believe that this step will be the beginning of a long and prosperous relationship between both centers towards a better environment in the Arab Region"
